COURSE DESCRIPTION |

This course
focused on test, measurement and evaluation of teaching – learning
process. It covers the
relationships between instructional objectives and evaluation, the making of
table of specifications leading to the construction of the test, scoring, organizing, and interpretation of scores
and computation of grades. It includes
measure of central tendency, measures of variability, correlation and
inferences. |

GENERAL OBJECTIVES |

1. Explain the
importance of test and measurement in the educational process and discuss the
relationship between measurement and evaluation and its application; 2.
Acquire skills in the application of statistical formulas both in descriptive
and inferential statistics; 3.
Understand the significance of appropriate statistical treatment of the data
collected from where the conclusions of the investigation are drawn and as
basis in the decision-making process. |
